Read MoreI’ve always admired the MacBook Air since they were first announced but always found them that little bit too expensive that I couldn’t justify getting one over the original MacBook, recently though I realised that my MacBook was now coming up to three years old so decided to look at a new model.
Read MoreI’ve never been a massive book worm, going through school trying to read as little as I could so I could go out and play football, however in the past few months all that has changed, I’m not sure if it’s the Scottish weather or weather i’m just so passionate about what I do that I want to just keep learning.
After going on holiday and only being restricted to taking two books, as development books are quite thick and heavy I found myself yearning for a Kindle, but not sure if I would use it or not, so in stepped my iPad.
Read MoreAnyone who knows my, knows I have a passion for Flash, there’s something about it that is fun and allows me to achieve my day to day goals in my job, I’ve using Flash now for a while now and I’ve always dabbled in other technologies but never shown a passion for them, this is about to change. So I started it again, and I can honestly say I now have a fascination with Design Patterns no matter what language they are for, they bring order to chaos and help bring developers together.
Read MoreOk, so this weekend was mental. I took the chance to visit my parents after spending most of Friday contemplating wether or not to get an iPad. I decided against it on that day and took a moment to think, ask a few friends in America who’ve had it for a few weeks what they thought and make my judgment.
Read MoreI would like to thank the people at .net magazine and Christian Hall for getting in touch with me. Myself and Magomed Dovjenko were featured in the showcase section of the magazine for Magomed’s Portfolio site which can be seen here. There are some amazing projects in the showcase section so I feel very honoured that we made it.
Read MoreI got a log of books for christmas, and I haven’t had chance to read any of them, until last week when I picked up one that I’ve been wanting to read ever since I saw it on Amazon, it’s a book called Papervision3D Essentials written by Paul Tondeur and Jeff Winder
Read MoreJust recently I’ve had a few debates with a couple of colleagues about iPhone’s app’s and Mobile web sites, originally I started off saying how apps can have nicer user interfaces and usually give the user a more one -to-one feeling with whatever they’re using it for. However, over the pas week I’ve come to change my mind in some ways as well… I’ll try to explain why.
